It costs nothing and it carries no obligation. Then the twelve jobs below split the way the walk-around does, into what happens inside and what happens outside.

Dents and cracks are patched and sanded before anything gets covered. Windows, skylights and floors are protected, and the rooms people put off, the vaulted ceilings and open stairways, are part of the same estimate. Ray helps you settle on colour and finish. The written estimate is meant to deliver, in the crew's own words, no surprises and no drama.
Small or valuable items go away before the crew arrives. The crew handles the larger furniture.

Ray walks the exterior with photos and notes, and a big job is broken into written segments. Vinyl siding, garages, porches and decks all get painted. He won't reach for the cheapest paint, and he won't push the priciest one either. Expect to repaint every 5 to 7 years in New Haven County, per the FAQ.
